Anchorage Moravian Church

Allowing God's Spirit and His Word to touch many lives for Christ among Alaska's Native people.
The love of music and the many musical talents of its members is a blessing not easily forgotten.

If the Holy Spirit is tugging at your heart to worship, come and experience it with us.

You will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Yup'ik Eskimo, Inupiat and English at our services!

Alaska Moravian Youth Festival

Place:  Akiachak, Alaska

Date:  November 10-12, 2006

Topic:  A GOOD SERVANT OF JESUS

THEME VERSE:  I Tim. 4:11,12

Opening Song:  I Would be True

Closing Song:  Be Ye Doers

Our teens preparing to leave 8 AM, Nov. 9, 2006
Note for Parents in future:  In order to have youth attend this special event or any AMY event in the future, you must sign a travel permission slip as well as a medical care permission form.  Sister Alice Hess has these forms.  If you want your child to attend AMY, next Spring 2007, please contact Alice Hess at (907) 677-2619.

Arrangements are made with Missionary Aviation of Soldatna to pick up youth at Ted Steven's International Airport for Akiachak, Alaska.

So too, to help the special and first-ever historic (from Anchorage) AMY trip on November 9-12, 2006, we are encouraging Anchorage Moravian parents to donate dollars to help pay for airfare.  So far it sounds like we've raised about $700 as of November 8, 2006.

There they go; pray for safety!

Also please pray for "safe travel and a special time of challenge for Christ", especially for those of our church family that attend this special event.
